The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is available as a four-door crew cab with a 5-foot bed. According to the Twin Falls Chevrolet dealership, the Colorado comes in five trims, listed as WT (Work Truck), LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. An array of Chevrolet accessories is available to complement the features of each model.
The base WT trim is powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It comes standard with two-wheel drive, with available four-wheel drive. Towing capacity maxes out at 3,500 pounds.
2024 Chevrolet Colorado WT
The WT trim comes with 17-inch wheels, push-button start, a manual tilt steering wheel, cloth seats, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, a four-way adjustable passenger seat, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, and a rearview camera with hitch guidance. Standard technology equipment includes an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker sound system, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and two USB ports.
The Colorado comes standard with an extensive array of driver assistance technologies. These include automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, and forward collision alert. A rear-seat alert system and Teen Driver are also standard.
Buyers opting for the WT trim can add two option packages: the WT Convenience package and the WT Convenience package II.

The Trail Boss and higher trims are equipped with a variant of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant, available on the WT and LT, enables the Trail Boss and Z71 to achieve a class-leading tow rating of 7,700 pounds. Four-wheel drive is standard.
Building on the LT’s equipment, the Trail Boss adds off-road capability with 18-inch wheels shod in all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension with a 2-inch lift, an automatic locking rear differential, a two-speed transfer case, fender flares, and hill descent control. Buyers can further equip their trucks with the Trail Boss Convenience package or Trail Boss Convenience package II.
2024 Chevrolet Colorado Z71
The Z71 trim comes with the Trail Boss’s features, except for the lifted suspension. It adds LED exterior lighting, keyless entry and ignition, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. The interior is upgraded with cloth and synthetic leather upholstery, a sliding rear window, and two additional rear USB ports. Two household-style power outlets are included in the cabin and bed, while red tow hooks are fitted to the exterior. Z71 owners can also select the Convenience package II or Convenience package III.
2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2
The ZR2 trim is the Colorado lineup’s off-road trim, with a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. It features a unique front fascia, fender flares, and rear bumper. Off-road prowess is enhanced with 17-inch wheels, mud-terrain tires, Multimatic DSSV dampers, and an advanced suspension system with a 3-inch lift. Selectable front and rear locking differentials further bolster its trail capabilities.
Inside, the ZR2 boasts heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Convenience features include remote engine start and dual-zone climate control. The exterior is equipped with an upgraded tailgate, while the bed features a spray-in liner. Rocker-panel rails and the Advanced Trailering package are also standard.
The ZR2 trim has several available packages, including the Recovery package and the ZR2 Convenience III package. A new Bison Edition package comes with 17-inch AEV wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory Mud Terrain tires, dedicated Multimatic jounce-control/DSSV dampers, and AEV-designed stamped steel front and rear bumpers with a winch mount and recovery points. This package also features five AEV-stamped steel skid plates and AEV fender flares.
All Colorado trim levels can be equipped with the Safety package, Technology package, and Advanced Trailering package.
